Salvia Divinorum 10x Extract
Salvia effects
Salvia effects and experiences variate in intensity from subtle effects to extremely powerful effects. The effects and the strength depends on how much you ingest, the strength of the leaves/extract, the way you take it, and your body chemistry.
Since salvia has so many different effects and stages the S-A-L-V-I-A Experiential Rating Scale was created
Stage 1 – “S” S stands for “Subtile” effects. You feel that you’re under-the-influence and that something is going on but you can’t precisely describe what’s going on. Some common effects in this stage are for example a light buzz, laugh kicks, and relaxation.
Stage 2 – “A” A stands for “Altered” perception. In this stage colors and textures are more noticeable, appreciation of music may be enhanced. Space can appear bigger or smaller than normal. But at this stage, you will not experience any visions.
Stage 3 – “L” L stands for “Light” visionary state. At this stage, you will see closed eye visuals(meaning that you’ll see clear hallucinations with eyes closed like: geometric patterns, fractal patterns, or vision of objects and designs). This imagery is often two-dimensional. When open-eyed visuals effects occur in this stage they are usually vague and fleeting. At stage 3 visuals are experienced as “eye candy” but are still distinguishable from reality.
Stage 4 – “V” V stands for “Vivid” visionary state. Stage 4 provides three-dimensional hallucinations or realistic appearing scenes that may occur. Sometimes voices can be heard that seem to be in your head or really far away. With your eyes open, contact with reality will not be entirely lost, but when you close your eyes you can forget about consensus reality and enter into a dreamlike reality, world or scene.
Stage 5 – “I” stands for “Immaterial” existence. At this stage, one may no longer be aware of having a body. Your consciousness remains and some thought processes are still understandable, but you will lose all contact with the “real world”. When you are in stage 5 it is impossible to function in consensual reality, but unfortunately, some people do not remain still. That’s why for this stage a trip-sitter is essential to ensure the safety of the tripper.
Stage 6 – “A” stands for “Amnesic” effects. At this point, either consciousness is lost or one is unable to recall or describe what kind of experience they experienced. When woken up the individual will have no recollection of what he/she did, experienced in stage 6. This is not a desirable level, because nothing can be recalled of the experience.
